My own path is unlike anything I could have envisioned; it hasn’t followed a straight line. While I’ve checked the “desired” boxes of life, I have also navigated the difficult and undesirable ones. Ultimately, I’ve learned that it is often the unexpected detours that create the most profound opportunities for personal evolution.
I have experienced recovery in many forms—physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial. What these experiences have in common is my deep-seated desire to utilize the body as a vehicle for wellness.
Time and time again, I return to the woods, the ocean, the mountains, and rock walls to do this work. Specifically, these environments are where I sustain my health, fuel my innate desire to explore, and ultimately nurture my inner child who loves to play.
As an Adventure Guide and Health & Well-Being Coach, I combine a lifetime of lived experience with continuous academic and professional training. My career has been colorful and full of adventure, but the common thread has always been the bridge between human potential and the natural world.
In my early years, I served as a wilderness instructor for a therapeutic program for girls, witnessing firsthand how the outdoors can break through emotional paralysis. Consequently, when I transitioned out of the woods, I took those lessons into the outdoor industry, holding leadership positions, innovating life-safety products for market, and managing professional athletes.
Throughout these diverse roles—from the boardroom to the backcountry—I have excelled at one thing: facilitating growth by connecting deeply with people.
A native of Colorado, I moved to Maine nearly 20 years ago. Whether I’m professionally climbing trees as a licensed arborist, scaling rock walls or adventuring around the world, I am most at home when I am exploring nature. Hiking, biking, walking, skiing, climbing—all of the “ings” bring me joy, connection, and a relentless desire to evolve.
I’m here to help you discover your own “ings” and move toward your fullest life.
